2019 Year-in-Review report for Western Harvest Ministries

2019 is coming to a close I can honestly say, it has been an incredible year! We have seen so many amazing things take place through our ministry. Like many of you reading this, it seems that time is flying with so many responsibilities and needs in our world.

As you can imagine there are times when the needs just simply seem too large to even attempt to take on but that is when it is most important that we understand that we are in partnership with a big God and that if he has called us to this mission, then we must totally believe that he will fully equip us to endure all the way to victory.

Over the years, we have certainly learned many of God’s foundational principles to live by and when given the opportunity to share them with others it always brings a great sense of joy and peace knowing that if truly received, those very principles will help to change lives.

Our ministry mission is clear. Our desire is to be able to reach as many young people and their families (both within and out of the western culture) with the powerful message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are passionately driven to accomplish this by utilizing every means necessary to see lives transformed and be set free from the snares of the enemy that has kept them in bondage, whether it be spiritual, mental or financially or emotionally.

Since 2003, when we incorporated Western Harvest Ministries as a 501c3 outreach ministry, we have been blessed with many unique and creative platforms to minister. It is as if the Lord perfectly places us right where he needs us to be to deliver a ready word to his people. We always try to be sensitive to his leading in where we are going, as well as, in the discerning of the season that we are in with our ministry.

Each year we have a few new opportunities that are added to our outreaches that both challenge and re-energize us with excitement. The Lord is truly increasing our territory and preparing us for his divine purpose. I’m reminded that some of the greatest sermons are not the ones preached but the ones lived out.

We, like many nonprofit organizations have an endless list of needs that are very important to the success of our vision, and with each passing year the list grows. In addition, there is always the need to make sure we are operating without the pressure of a large amount of overhead expenses.

In 2019 we added a couple of assets that created a little more need for operating expenses but will certainly enlarge our ability to reach more young people. Those assets include a four-horse trailer with a small living quarters and a robotic bucking machine. Both are very complimentary of the type of ministry we have. It will also create some great marketing exposure for our ministry partners that want to, so to speak, “ride with us” as we travel from outreach to outreach throughout the United States.

We already have several events on the schedule for 2020 that are going to be truly incredible. We would like to ask you to pray about becoming a partner of our ministry if you already are not. Your faithful support can really make a difference in helping us to impact more lives. It will also help us to conduct our ministry with excellence and as good stewards.

I believe when you see the list below of just a few of the outreaches we were a part of in 2019 you will see first-hand that we are out in the harvest simply because of the relationships with partners the Lord has brought into our lives and ministry to help us in building his kingdom.
